ETP Grade Copper Rod (C11000—Electrolytic Tough Pitch)
Jain Impex ETP Grade Copper Rods are manufactured from 99.9% minimum purity copper—the most widely used grade in the electrical industry. ETP copper rod achieves 100% IACS electrical conductivity, making it the standard choice for wire drawing, electrical busbars, motor windings, and transformer conductors where maximum conductivity and consistent performance are non-negotiable requirements.
ETP copper rods are available in soft (annealed), half-hard, and hard tempers and can be supplied in round, square, and hexagonal cross-sections across diameters from 5 mm to 100 mm. They are widely used in cable manufacturing, power distribution equipment, rotating machine windings, and earthing systems.
DHP Grade Copper Rod (C12200—Deoxidized High Phosphorus)
Jain Impex DHP Grade Copper Rods are phosphorus-deoxidized to eliminate residual oxygen—making them fully resistant to hydrogen embrittlement and safe for high-temperature brazing, welding, and forming operations. DHP copper rod is the standard grade for plumbing tube fabrication, refrigeration and air conditioning systems, heat exchangers, and all applications where the rod will be welded or joined.
The slight reduction in electrical conductivity compared to ETP grade (approximately 85–90% IACS) is accepted in non-electrical applications where weldability, corrosion resistance, and formability are the primary material requirements. DHP rods are available in identical dimensional ranges to ETP grade and supplied to IS 613, ASTM B187, and BS EN 13601 standards.
OF Grade Copper Rod (C10200—Oxygen Free)
Jain Impex OF (Oxygen Free) Grade Copper Rods are manufactured under controlled atmospheric conditions with 99.95% minimum copper purity and oxygen content below 0.001%. This grade is specified for high-frequency electronics, vacuum equipment, semiconductor components, audio equipment, and aerospace applications where even trace oxide inclusions would compromise electrical or mechanical performance.
An OF copper rod maintains full conductivity at elevated temperatures and withstands severe thermal cycling without hydrogen embrittlement—making it suitable for the most demanding electrical and electronic manufacturing environments. Material test certificates confirming oxygen content and conductivity are provided with every batch.
